Discover the perfect sleep

A hard mattress made with a pocket spring system, developed especially for those suffering from spinal problems! A 5-zone pocket spring system under the layer ensures proper support. Due to its point springing, it easily adapts to the body's contours, thus ensuring the natural support of the spine. The hardest mattress in the product line, thanks to the 4 cm thick heterogeneous foam cushioning layer located on both sides.

The Rottex Allegro - Largo mattress is characterized by excellent body contour following thanks to the 5-zone German hardened steel pocket spring system. The Allegro Largo mattress is essentially the same as the Allegro Vivo mattress, with the difference that, in contrast to the Vivo mattress's medium-hardness comfort foam layer, the Largo mattress has a so-called composite, also known as heterogeneous foam layer, ensuring a restful sleep for those who prefer a firmer bed. The Allegro Largo mattress, worthy of the Allegro luxury mattress product line, also received the same knitted-loop fabric cover decorated with a single-needle quilt pattern, which also elevates this type to the upper category mattresses with its aesthetics. The load capacity of the Largo mattress stands out from the other members of the Allegro mattress family thanks to its 130 kg weight limit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our experts will be happy to answer all your questions.

01 What mattress do you recommend?

Foam or spring? This is one of the most common questions, but of course, the answer is not that simple, as it matters a lot what kind of mattress is currently at home and what the customer is used to. Essentially, the brand does not determine the suitability of the mattress. We rather recommend buying a firmer mattress, as it can be made more comfortable later (with a topper). Mattress shopping cannot be "one-size-fits-all"; everyone should choose a mattress individually, adapting to their life situation and physical needs and endowments. Of course, we are happy to help with this (too).

02 What is a mattress topper good for?

We recommend toppers exclusively for increasing comfort.

If you choose a firmer mattress that puts pressure on your hips or shoulders, a quality topper can improve your comfort. The optimal support for your spine will remain, but your hips and shoulders will feel more comfortable and relaxed on the mattress.

03 Should I use a mattress protector:

Naturally, yes, it is worth it, as it is easier to wash than a mattress cover. Furthermore, it perfectly absorbs the moisture generated during the night – which our body emits due to normal bodily functions/illness/sweating. A mattress protector is especially important for young children due to nighttime accidents. Thewaterproof mattress protector was developed for this purpose.

04 Should I buy a hardbox bed or a boxspring?

Since these beds still need mattresses, we recommend the Hardbox bed. Mattresses require a firm base, which the Hardbox bed provides, as its top surface is firm.

Unlike Boxspring beds, which have bonnell springs in their structure, they do not provide a firm base. In terms of appearance, there is no difference between the two bed types.

05 Should I buy a high or low mattress?

This is a collapsible content section used to hold additional information or context about the heading above.

06 Should I buy a high or low mattress?

We are proponents of taller mattresses. Taller support = greater comfort. Both for pocket spring mattresses and cold foam mattresses. Our experience shows that a mattress at least 20 cm high is ideal, but purchases indicate that more and more people are looking for mattresses that are 25-30 cm high as well.

07 Should I rotate the mattress?

Rotating is unavoidable! We recommend it every 1-2 months. We recommend a hard, straight support because sleeping on the mattress from above presses and dimples the affected side, but the bottom of the mattress remains straight, and after turning over we get an even surface again. Rotating makes the mattress more comfortable and lasts longer.

08 Why wool? Isn't that just for older people?

Wool is a natural material that has been used for thousands of years, both in clothing and for sleeping.

Our bodies still react to external stimuli in the same way as they did in previous millennia: they sweat, feel cold, or feel hot. Wool aids our sleeping comfort; it is an excellent moisture and heat conductor (and regulator). Additionally, it is an extremely good thermal insulator.

It keeps you warm on cold winter nights, yet it can release heat, keeping you cool in the summer. Its breathability helps prevent excessive sweating and the development of unpleasant odours, and it inhibits the proliferation of bacteria and mites. It also has a beneficial effect on the environment. You don't have to worry about microplastic emissions that would harm nature.
