TR mattresses contain 130 mm 2.2 springs, with the difference that in these mattresses the springs are sewn into separate bags, which makes them much more elastic compared to bonell springs, which can also increase the lifespan of the mattress. Because when you lie on it, only the springs that are currently being loaded will move. For additional comfort, the mattress contains a 20 mm aircell comfort layer. It is a member of the Rottex pocket spring mattress family. The main feature of the pocket spring mattress is the pontelasticity, with a comfort layer, in a 5-zone design. The TR-EX pocket spring mattress combines pontelasticity with the right support and a high degree of comfort. This exclusive mattress also has 5-zone 130 mm 2.2 spring bodies sewn into a bag. Therefore, the point elasticity of the mattress is very high. On which a 20 mm heterogeneous polyurethane foam layer has been placed to provide the appropriate support. This is increased by a 40 mm anti-decubitus aircell layer to provide excellent comfort. Which is provided with a very durable winter-summer side Bamboo cover woven with bamboo fibers. The Rottex TR-EX reinforced pocket spring mattress is the premium type of the pocket spring mattress family. The comfort layer of the exclusive mattress is provided by aircell foam. Rottex uses 130 mm high spring bodies in the production of pocket spring mattresses with a density of 230 springs/nm. In the field of spring mattresses, this can be said to be very dense, thus increasing the point elasticity of the mattress. All Rottex mattresses are made in domestic factories, in order to promote the recovery of the domestic economy. So Rottex pocket spring mattresses can be the best choice for those who are looking for a reliable and top-class spring mattress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our experts will be happy to answer all your questions.

01 What mattress do you recommend?

Foam or spring? This is one of the most common questions, but of course, the answer is not that simple, as it matters a lot what kind of mattress is currently at home and what the customer is used to. Essentially, the brand does not determine the suitability of the mattress. We rather recommend buying a firmer mattress, as it can be made more comfortable later (with a topper). Mattress shopping cannot be "one-size-fits-all"; everyone should choose a mattress individually, adapting to their life situation and physical needs and endowments. Of course, we are happy to help with this (too).

02 What is a mattress topper good for?

We recommend toppers exclusively for increasing comfort.

If you choose a firmer mattress that puts pressure on your hips or shoulders, a quality topper can improve your comfort. The optimal support for your spine will remain, but your hips and shoulders will feel more comfortable and relaxed on the mattress.

03 Should I use a mattress protector:

Naturally, yes, it is worth it, as it is easier to wash than a mattress cover. Furthermore, it perfectly absorbs the moisture generated during the night – which our body emits due to normal bodily functions/illness/sweating. A mattress protector is especially important for young children due to nighttime accidents. Thewaterproof mattress protector was developed for this purpose.

04 Should I buy a hardbox bed or a boxspring?

Since these beds still need mattresses, we recommend the Hardbox bed. Mattresses require a firm base, which the Hardbox bed provides, as its top surface is firm.

Unlike Boxspring beds, which have bonnell springs in their structure, they do not provide a firm base. In terms of appearance, there is no difference between the two bed types.

05 Should I buy a high or low mattress?

This is a collapsible content section used to hold additional information or context about the heading above.

06 Should I buy a high or low mattress?

We are proponents of taller mattresses. Taller support = greater comfort. Both for pocket spring mattresses and cold foam mattresses. Our experience shows that a mattress at least 20 cm high is ideal, but purchases indicate that more and more people are looking for mattresses that are 25-30 cm high as well.

07 Should I rotate the mattress?

Rotating is unavoidable! We recommend it every 1-2 months. We recommend a hard, straight support because sleeping on the mattress from above presses and dimples the affected side, but the bottom of the mattress remains straight, and after turning over we get an even surface again. Rotating makes the mattress more comfortable and lasts longer.

08 Why wool? Isn't that just for older people?

Wool is a natural material that has been used for thousands of years, both in clothing and for sleeping.

Our bodies still react to external stimuli in the same way as they did in previous millennia: they sweat, feel cold, or feel hot. Wool aids our sleeping comfort; it is an excellent moisture and heat conductor (and regulator). Additionally, it is an extremely good thermal insulator.

It keeps you warm on cold winter nights, yet it can release heat, keeping you cool in the summer. Its breathability helps prevent excessive sweating and the development of unpleasant odours, and it inhibits the proliferation of bacteria and mites. It also has a beneficial effect on the environment. You don't have to worry about microplastic emissions that would harm nature.
